The percentage of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is less than 1%. The concentration is dependent on the balance of gases' interaction. Human activities can affect the proportion of each greenhouse gas, and change the concentration of greenhouse gases. The dominant greenhouse gases are CO2, CH4, N2O, N2O and O3.

Earth Fever

If the average temperature on Earth rises by 2-3.5 degrees in 2050, our descendants would be the last generation of human beings on Earth. Since the industrial revolution, the average temperature on Earth has increased by approximate 0.6 degrees and the carbon dioxide content has increased by 30% so that the carbon dioxide level in the atmosphere has rose to 380 ppmv (380 unit volume of Carbon Dioxide in one million unit volume of air). The Earth's ecosystem has been in existence for 4 billion years. However, humans only took 20 million years to subvert the balance of the ecosystem. These changes make the sea level rise and vary the rainfall and regional climate. The regional climate change will alter the forest, agriculture, and water supply; moreover, it can cause more serious threat to human health.

A British reporter and environmental radio show commentator, Mark Lynas in his book in 2007, "6 ℃ change", state that:
When the Earth +1℃: Arctic circle with half a day throughout the whole year will be in ice-free state, the wildfires will increase, and animals will collectively leave their habitat.
When the Earth +2℃: Greenland glaciers disappear gradually, and the coral reefs will completely extinct. The sea level rises by 7 meters. 30% of the animals will fall into the risk of extinction. Small islands disappear. Floods, droughts, large hurricanes, heat waves, forest fires, lack of water resources and migration of millions of people may occur.
When the Earth +3℃: 30% of waterfront and wetlands will disappear. Mankind launch wars in order to get water. Heat waves and drought in Europe may continuous occur.
When the Earth +4℃: Millions of people suffer from floods every year. The delta areas are flooded and only the hills and mountains are left in Taiwan. Amazon rainforest is burned by fire and the famine in Africa will become severe.
When the Earth +5℃: More than 40% of the plants and animals may be in the risk of extinction, including humans.
When the Earth +6℃: The Earth will become a dead planet.
You can imagine if the Earth's average temperature would rise by 6 ℃ in 2100, humans would not find the environment for survival.

According to WMO’s Greenhouse Gas Bulletin in 2014, The atmospheric increase of CO2 from 2012 to 2013 was 2.9 ppm, which is the largest year to year change from 1984 to 2013.” “The NOAA Annual Greenhouse Gas Index in 2013 was 1.34, representing a 34% increase in total radioactive forcing (relative to 1750) by all LLGHGs since 1990 and a 1.5% increase from 2012 to 2013 (Figure 1). The total radioactive forcing by all LLGHGs in 2013 corresponds to a CO2-equivalent mole fraction of 479 ppm.” If we don’t face this music, the scientist predict that the temperature will be increased 4.5°c in 2100, if it really happens, that will lead the devastatingconsequence.


Injury from Earth Fever

s the atmospheric temperature rises, the tropical infectious diseases may diffuse towards the high latitudes. Currently, there are already signs of the spread of tropical diseases. The virus which is difficult to survive at low temperatures in the past may become active throughout the year as the winter temperatures rises. According to the data monitored recently, it is found that the diseases which have been under control in the past, such as tuberculosis, are likely to break out again.

"Malaria mosquitos" are the media for malaria infection and they are now distributed mainly near the equator. But with the gradual climate warming, they may extend to North America and other mid-latitude regions in the future. The pathogen for malaria is "Plasmodium" which has the genes of preferring the tropical area. Because of global warming, people usually wear light clothes with more chances of skin exposure which increases the risk of bites by the mosquito with the pathogen.

In addition, for the water-transmitted diseases "cholera", epidemic may spread with the global warming. The pathogen of cholera is Vibrio cholera, which forms symbiosis with the plankton floating at sea. As the sea temperature rises, the plankton will multiply; in this case, the number of Vibrio cholera will increase. Meanwhile, as the sea level rises due to global warming, the chance for the sea water with Vibrio cholera to flood back into the river may also increase, and thus the possibility of the expansion other pollution area where the river is utilized may become higher.

The global warming may expand the territory of infectious diseases which may become a big disaster on human health. One of the thing to be worried about most is that, the malaria, dengue fever, West Nile fever, Japanese encephalitis and other diseases, which are transmitted by mosquitoes as the media. Since the industrial revolution, human burns fossil fuels and leave the atmospheric a high concentrations of greenhouse gases which has been rising by nearly 30%. As the earth's air is polluted, not only the results of temperature rise and the environment change may occur; according to the research results, air pollution can induce heart attack, lead to male infertility, result in child deaths, result in abnormal sleep apnea, and increase the risk of environmental cancers.

Environment Improvement Commitment
In Kyoto Protocol, it is proposed that all industrialized countries shall reduce the greenhouse gas emissions during 2008 to 2012 down to the level at least 5% less than that in 1990. In the Copenhagen meeting in 2009, even though not signed by many countries, many countries even proposed a goal to reduce carbon emissions in 2020 down to the level 40% less than that in 1990. Aleees complies with the national standard to reduce the carbon emissions in 2020 down to the level in 2005 which is equivalent to the carbon emissions reduction of 87 million metric tons.

Declaration of Major Industrial Countries
According to President Obama’s Climate Action Plan on June, 2013, it claimed that US Environmental Protection Agency should propose a draft as “The act of reduce nation’s carbon emission”. This act’s goal is by 2020, America would reduce its greenhouse gas emissions in the range of 17 percent below 2005 levels if all other major economies agreed to limit their emissions as well.
In Copenhagen meeting in 2009, the majority of countries proposed a more aggressive target to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions, for example: Australia plans to reduce the carbon emissions in 2020 down to 75 - 95% of level in 2000; China promised to reduce the "carbon dioxide emissions per unit of gross domestic product" down to 40 - 45 % of the level in 2005 as a benchmark; German parliament agreed a proposals to promise to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions by 2020 down to 40% of the level in 1990.
